Someone wondered: "so what type of martial arts is the wonderninja studying, or are you only a thought
ninja, striking fear into the brains of your students?" The Wonderninja responds:
Thank you for wondering. Formally, the Wonderninja is studying Jidokwan style Taekwondo and currently holds a first degree black belt. She has been known to sleep in it as well. She
also studies Doce Pares Style Escrima and currently holds a National Title in Women's Single Stick Escrima. Literally, The Wonderninja is
holding her trophy and gazing at it right now. That's the Ninja part. The Wonderninja is also a teacher, and
after putting her students through an appropriate period of philosophical disorienteering encourages students to make friends
with their fears. She feels it to be her moral obligation to help them make as many friends as possible. Most importantly,
the Wonderninja follows the teachings of Lao Tzu who writes in The Tao Te Ching:
What is a good man but a bad man's
teacher?
What is a bad man but a good man's job?
If you don't understand this, you will get lost,
however intelligent you are.
It is the great secret. The Wonderninja is proud to be doing her part to keep good men and women empoyed.
Someone wondered if thewonderninja folded laundry today... The Wonderninja responds: Thank you for wondering. Yes, thewonderninja folded laundry this morning. I love laundry. Goes in
dirty, comes out clean. Just like that. Then you fold it, stack it, and cats sleep on it. Dogs bark, cats
jump, and laundry scatters. Kids throw it around for fun. Miraculously, it assumes its pre-folded position.
It looks as though nothing has happened, and yet it has had a full morning. Full of cat hair and mussed by children
it is ready to be thrown back into the hamper. There it waits to be washed, and folded again. Another day, I think.
